SUPPORT OUR NATIONAL WORK

The diagram shows how we support clients, and branches.

Although the day to day support work is carried out by volunteers, the National Association is committed to a number of regular expenses for which we rely both on donations, and money we raise through our events.

These funds are used to :

1. • Provide the National Telephone and Helpline
   

2. • Provide the Internet connection
   

3. • Provide ‘Touchlines’ - a bimonthly newsletter
   

4. • Provide  the Website
   

5. • Provide publicity materials
   

6. • Provide Client Support
   

7. • Provide support for the branches
   

8. • Establish new branches :
   

9. • This involves initial visits
   

10. • Initial Training
    

11. • If necessary, an initial loan
    

12. • Work with Oncology departments throughout the country
    

13. • Promote the Association amongst other French Cancer Support organisations
    

14. • Keep up to date with developments in France – travel to conferences
    

15. • Reimburse agreed expenses so that our volunteers are not out of pocket
    

It costs 10,000€ a year to maintain the National Association
