LINDA
Hello, I'm Linda and I am the founder and currently National President.
My breast cancer was discovered after my first routine mammogram at the age of 49 shortly after I had moved to France in 2000. All my treatment has been carried out here and included lumpectomy, followed by mastectomy and then radiotherapy.
I am part of the listening team in the Champagne Mouton area of the Charente (16)
ANDY
I am National Treasurer and ensure that all the activities and projects we are engaged in are properly funded. I believe it is important that people giving support should not be out of pocket. I invite them to submit expenses incurred such as telephone, postage and travel. Accounts are presented at the Annual General Meeting.
As a previous carer, I am particularly interested in developing support for those closest to the person directly affected by cancer and not always aware of the need for help until much later.

I volunteered to look after the website because I have a background in technology. Before retiring I was Head of Computing at a Sixth form College and have an MSc in Technology.
I lived in France for three years before moving back to the UK last year. I would welcome any opinions you have concerning the site.
“email me if you have any comments on the website”
TERESA
I am the secretary of CSF Coeur de France and I have lived in France for 10 years. Having worked in a hospice in the UK, I contacted CSF to see if I could become a volunteer. At that time there was no branch in this area (the Allier) so they asked me if I would be interested in setting one up. Somewhat daunted and more than a little apprehensively, I agreed and six months later we are up and running and have already supported 2 clients.
